The Cartagena Culture is overwhelming, it is one of the most welcoming in the country, the people are spontaneous, charismatic, recursive with a lot of musical talent , salsa and champeta dancers with a great cultural, architectural and high gastronomic heritage.

In this city you will find people  that love to stop to buy street foods, enjoying some egg arepas, cheese arepas, carimañolas, little cheese fingers and even patacones (platains) that are delicious fried foods , they are also highly desired by tourists who come and visit this beatifull walled City.

You will also find Palanqueras; Those beautiful women with a large colorful dress and bowls of fruit on their head. They are natives to the first free town of America where many people decide to go and explore everything about what it is considered an African town on this American continent.
